Whitby Seafoods smoked haddock & mature Cheddar croquetas with a lemon & chive tartar cream

Ingredients

Whitby Seafoods smoked haddock, Cheddar and salmon croquetas 3
Lemon and chive tartar sauce:
Lemon, ½ juice and zest and cut the remainder into wedges 1
Finely chopped chives 1 tbsp
Full fat crème fraiche 50g
Gherkin, finely chopped 1
Capers, finely chopped 1 tbsp
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to season

  Small plate dining continues to be on trend. This recipe is a British twist on a tasty tapas dish - serving our delicious Croquetas with a fresh crème fraiche, lemon and chive tartar cream.
  1. Cook the croquetas as directed on the pack instructions.
  2. Meanwhile reserve a pinch of lemon zest and chopped chives for garnish then place all of the lemon and chive tartar cream ingredients into a small bowl and stir gently until combined. Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper.
  3. To assemble pile the croquetas onto small tapas plate and serve with the lemon and chive tartar cream on the side and garnish with lemon wedges.
Tip Try adding a handful of watercress to the plate for a splash of colour.
