Supporting our charity partners at Christmas

It’s important in amongst all the celebrations to think about the fact that Christmas can be harder for others and so over the last few years we’ve used our Christmas campaign as an opportunity to drive a force for good and to support some of our charity partners.

This year we will be donating £1 per case sold of our brand new Premium Selection Raspberry & Pistachio Semifeddo to FareShare via Work for Good. This semifreddo is a perfect option for caterers and restaurants as it is pre-portioned and served directly from the freezer. No need to defrost, simply dress your plate and send to the pass!

FareShare’s mission is to fight against hunger and tackle food waste in our communities. They redistribute surplus food to charities that turn it into meals.

    “Established 20 years ago, Best Foods is proud to be innovation-driven at its core. Focussing on high quality, great tasting food is what they do best.

  • Long Clawson

    “Long Clawson Dairy is one of the very best producers of blue stilton and other cheeses in the country and was originally founded over 100 years ago in 1911 by Thomas Hoe Stevenson, who was running a farm alongside his two sisters who produced cheese in a room adjoining the main farmhouse. In order to ensure the special cheese could continue to be produced he canvassed the opinion of local farmers for the development of dairy. He soon had 11 partners and the group purchased an old empty pub in the village of Long Clawson, where the head office of the dairy still resides today. Long Clawson had remained a farming co-operative and continues to help support local farms with over 43 farms supplying dairy with 58 million litres of milk every year.”
