Bidvest Foodservice, one of the UK’s leading foodservice providers for the education sector, will be launching its new brand and showcasing its on-trend grab and go ideas at the LACA Main Event 8-10 July 2015.
At this year’s event, the Bidvest Foodservice education team will be displaying and sampling grab and go breakfast, lunch and snack options from the company’s comprehensive product range. This includes everything that customers need to set up a grab and go offer, from school food standards and Food for Life compliant ingredients to disposables such as carriers and cutlery.
The company’s aim is to show school caterers how to incorporate modern trends from the high street into the school environment, while ensuring school food standards are met.
Development chefs will be on hand to offer guidance to delegates and recipe cards will be available for caterers to take away, enabling them to recreate what they see on the stand in their school.
Copies of Bidvest Foodservice’s School Caterer’s Handbook, which has been designed to help school caterers offer a compliant menu while driving meal uptake, will also be available.
Philippa Norton, customer marketing manager at Bidvest Foodservice said: “Quick, convenient and easy to eat on the move, grab and go meals and snacks are a big hit with pupils – particularly in the summer term and the first weeks in September when the weather is warmer and pupils want to take their lunch outside.
“Our chefs will be on the stand to show school caterers how easily they can tap into this trend with our product range and enhance their menu with tasty and nutritious grab and go options that will attract pupils and keep them coming back.”
Bidvest Foodservice has recently changed its name from Bidvest 3663. The rebrand is part of a wider programme of evolution which reflects the company’s commitment to making customers’ lives easier by delivering service excellence, great food and real value.
