In 2011, Cassandra Stavrou was done with the snacking status quo. Tired of the same old options and trade-offs, she turned a cement mixer and car spray painter into a snack-making machine. This was the start of a journey to change how snacks were being made and marketed, and she hasn’t stopped since.
From launching at London Fashion Week to becoming the first B Corp snack brand, we’ve always viewed snacks as an experience to be designed and curated.
While our competitors follow the category, we follow culture: creating packs you’re proud to carry, flavours and taste that you can feel and a snackover-free post-snack feeling.
Today, PROPER is the UK’s top-selling Sweet & Salty popcorn, and our PROPER chips range is the most successful snack launch in the past five years. We’re reshaping snacking, and we’re just getting started.

NEW Cheese Collection
Introducing two new launches, All the Cheese lentil chips and Mature Cheddar popcorn. When others do CHEESE…we bring you All the Cheese Lentil Chips. An “homage to the fromage” that blends Cheddar, Emmental, Mozzarella, and Gouda into a crispy, savoury snack. As well as Mature Cheddar Popcorn, a golden cascade of rich, tangy mature cheddar that offers a lighter, high-fibre alternative to traditional cheese-flavoured snacks. Both new products are available in single serve 20g bags perfect for food service.
All our snacks have short ingredient lines, made using only natural seasoning and are gluten free.

In 2018, PROPER became the first snacks brand to earn B Corp certification. We believe in putting people, planet, and profit on equal footing. We’re part of a global movement. We don’t chase scores, but we’re determined to do business the right way, now and in the future. We’ve made good progress. But this is just the start.
