Grilled plaice with brown shrimp and Samphire butter

Everyday Favourites plain white flour Dusting
Plaice fillet 170-200g 1
Everyday Favourites salted butter 20g
Peeled brown shrimps 10g
Samphire 10g
Lemon 1/2


  1. Place flour in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper
  2. Pass the plaice through the seasoned flour for a light dusting
  3. Melt half the butter and brush over the plaice fillet
  4. Place the fillet under a very hot grill, allow to colour and then place in the oven at 180oc
  5. After 4 minutes, add the brown shrimps and the rest of the butter, allow butter to brown for a further 2 minutes
  6. Add samphire and cook for a further 2 minutes
  7. Gently life the plaice fillet onto your serving dish, top with brown shrimp and samphire. Finish with a drizzle of the melted butter and garnish with lemon, halved.
