Here at Bidfood, we are a foodservice wholesaler supplying fresh, frozen, ambient and non-food related products to customers in a wide range of sectors within the foodservice and catering industries. These include; local authorities, hospitals, care homes, schools, universities, hotels, pubs and restaurants chains, contract caterers, as well as many independent operators in the hospitality industry.

At Bidfood, our mission is to deliver service excellence, making life easier and helping our customers to grow. Therefore, everything we do has our customers at heart, and is led by research and insights, whether that’s into food trends that help menus stay ahead of the curve, or into the latest technological advance that allow us to continuously develop our service offering.

For us, great service starts by employing great people, taking time to learn about our customers’ business, and being inspired by the great service they offer to their own customers.

We’re serious about service but this time we’ve taken things one step further and turned the tables on our team to understand what great service means to our customers.

Our teams also take our commitment to challenges shared by the industry very seriously, and this led to the launch, in 2015, of our CSER initiative plate2planet which provides a forum for advice, debate and innovation amongst caterers, suppliers and industry bodies.
