Ingredients
Dr. Oetker Gluten Free Cake Mix | 500g |
Vegetable oil | 40ml |
Water | 175ml |
Dr Oetker Reduced Fat Cocoa Powder | 200g |
Milk or Dark Dr. Oetker Chocolate Chips | 150g |
Scotbloc Milk Chocolate Chips | 200g |
To decorate | |
Dr. Oetker Micro Mallows | |
Shortbread biscuits, broken into chunks | |
Mixed dried fruits | |
Dr Oetker Milk, Dark & White Chocolate Chips |
Method

- Add the oil & water to the dry mix and beat with a spoon or machine paddle for 3-4 minutes or until smooth and it has no lumps.
- Add the cocoa powder and mix well.
- Stir in the 150g of chosen chocolate chips.
- Spoon the mixture evenly into the cup cake or muffin cases.
- Cook at 170°c (150°c fan) gas mark 4, for 15-20 minutes until just firm to touch.
- Whilst cooling, melt the Scotbloc in a bowl over hot water or in a microwave in short bursts.
- Once the cakes are cool enough, dip each one in the melted chocolate and decorate whilst the covering is still wet. You can use an alternative colour of chocolate to drizzle over the finished cakes.
