For the chocolate fudge sponge

  • Vegetable oil 150ml
  • Water 450ml
  • Everyday Favourites free range large eggs 5
  • Dr. Oetker Madagascan Vanilla Extract 1 tbsp
  • Soured cream 225g
  • Everyday Favourites plain flour 600g
  • Dr. Oetker Fine Dark Cocoa Powder 100g
  • Caster sugar 150g
  • Light brown sugar 375g
  • Dr. Oetker Bicarbonate of Soda 1 1/2 tsp
  • Dr. Oetker Baking Powder Sachets 1 tbsp

For the white chocolate buttercream filling

  • Dr. Oetker 26% White Chocolate 175g
  • Everyday Favourites unsalted butter 250g
  • Icing sugar (sifted) 280g
  • Dr. Oetker Madagascan Vanilla Paste 1 tbsp

For the vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream

  • Egg whites from 4 large eggs 150g
  • Caster sugar 200g
  • Everyday Favourites cooking salt 1/4 tsp
  • Everyday Favourites unsalted butter (softened) 450g

For the decoration

  • Raspberry jam 300g
  • Dr. Oetker Glamour & Sparkle Sprinkles 150g
  • Dr. Oetker Bright and Bold 4-Cell (optional) 50g
  • Edible Glitter Dust (gold paint) 1g
