Alpen bliss balls

Ingredients

  • Alpen original or no added sugar 125g
  • Chopped nuts 40g
  • Nut butter of your choice 125g
  • Grated apple or grated carrot 1
  • Medjool dates (or 60g soft dried dates), chopped 4

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°c.
  2. Spread Alpen evenly onto a baking tray.
  3. On another baking tray, evenly spread out the chopped nuts.
  4. Toast both in the oven for 5-7 mins, then leave to cool.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the nut butter, grated apple/carrot and chopped dates.
  6. Stir in the Alpen and make sure it's mixed together well.
  7. Divide the mixture into 15 servings, rolling each into a ball. Roll the balls in the toasted nuts to coat.
  8. Allow to cool for 30 minutes.
