Welcome to Harlow depot
Harlow depot opened in 2005 after the company moved from an old site which dated back to the sixties. The site is on 5 acres with a 60,000 square feet multi-temperature warehouse.
We have 250 colleagues in sales and operations and run a fleet of 65 vehicles. The delivery area comprises Cambridgeshire, Herts, Essex and North London. In a typical week 180,000 items will be delivered to customers, a large proportion of which are schools.
We have many long serving colleagues who play a big part in the success of the depot.
Engaging with our local community
We donate to Harlow food bank 3 times a week, which provide free emergency food to individuals and families in crisis.
We also donate to Streets2homes, a local homeless shelter that provides breakfast, lunch, tea and coffee along with a warm shower for the local homeless people. We have donated a lot of short life meat and toiletries (that have been given personally by staff) and our staff volunteered there for a week.
We also organise for damaged sugar to be collected by our local bee keeper, who in turn gives us free jars of local honey which we sell to staff and use the money for sustainability on site e.g. buying bird food for our feeders and plants for our bee garden.
