Bidfood launches three inspiring sessions to help operators navigate the current challenges

It’s been an incredibly long and challenging 18 months for the industry and whilst there is still a way to go, Bidfood, one of the UK’s leading foodservice providers, is back with their live culinary webinar series, Bidfood Kitchen, to offer some support and advice to operators navigating this challenging period.

Returning on Thursday, 11th November, Bidfood Kitchen boasts a jam-packed schedule comprising three inspiring sessions:

9:30am – 10:00am Revealing healthier swaps for the cost sector

For this session, our resident school and healthcare expert chef, Wayne Wright, will be talking through innovative and simple healthier swaps that you can implement on your menu.

11:05am – 12:05pm On the spot swaps for flexible menus

This session will be hosted by our Culinary Development Chef, Damon Corey, who will be showing easy-to-put-together recipes which are created from back-up stock, if you don’t have the ingredients you need.

This session is perfect if you’re looking for support with reduced resources and wanting to maximise how you use your store cupboard essentials!

1:30pm – 2:00pm Discovering new food and drink trends for your menu for 2022

Offering a rare, sneak peek at the food and drink trends set to dominate the industry in 2022, Food Innovation Manager, Martin Eshelby, will be demonstrating some of his favourite new recipes, with tips on how to serve these new and exciting foods that your customers will absolutely love!

Speaking about Bidfood Kitchen, Joe Angliss, Customer Marketing Manager at Bidfood said:

“We’re really excited for this next instalment of Bidfood Kitchen. Not only has it been really well received previously, but we’ve got some incredibly insightful and topical sessions that we feel operators will find beneficial, whilst navigating the current challenges.

“The beauty of Bidfood Kitchen is that you’re hearing directly from our culinary experts and getting to watch them in action, providing hints and tips, advice and hopefully some inspiration for operators’ menus! Attendees will also have the ability to engage directly with our chefs, asking them questions throughout the sessions. There should be something for everyone and we really hope you can join us.”
