This trend is all about mini delights. Small but delicious treats designed to be enjoyed across multiple dining occasions. Already incredibly popular across Europe (the French call this Cafe Gourmand!), it's now becoming a big thing here in the UK, partly due to the more manageable portion size and added value for customers looking for a tiny treat after a main meal. Good things really do come in small packages!

We all love a classic dessert, whether you're partial to a crumble or prefer a sticky toffee pudding, consumers crave warm and decadent puds especially as the nights draw in. Sales of hot desserts were up £2.6m last year, according to analysts at Kantar Worldpanel, which found more people buying hot puddings, and doing so more frequently.
