Spicy falafel fritters

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas 250g
  • Medium-sized onion 1
  • Garlic cloves 4
  • Inch ginger 1
  • Green chillies 2
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ground pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves a handful
  • Vegetable oil for frying

  1. Soak chickpeas overnight.
  2. Grind coarsely along with ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  3. Add finely chopped onion and coriander leaves to the mixture.
  4. Add salt and pepper powder as well. Mix well.
  5. Give it the desired shape.
  6. Deep fry till golden – for extra crispiness deep fry twice.
  7. Serve hot with tzatziki.
