Ingredients
| Farmstead minced beef | 500g |
| Garlic | 10g |
| Onion | 150g |
| Carrots | 150g |
| Chopped tomatoes | 800g |
| Tomato paste | 150g |
| Basil | 2g |
| Water | 200ml |
Method
- Place a saucepan on the stove and heat, then add the mince and dry fry until golden brown. Strain the fat.
- Finley chop the onion, carrot, and garlic and add to the mince. Continue to fry until soft.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, add 200ml of water and cook for a further 15 minutes. Then add the basil and allow to simmer for 30 minutes before serving.
