Ingredients
- Dr Schär gluten free penne pasta 300g
- Shiitake mushrooms 120g
- Button mushrooms, sliced 200g
- Garlic cloves, crushed 2
- Red onion, sliced 1
- Everyday Favourites salted butter 40g
- Parmesan 2 tbsps
- White wine to taste
- Whipping cream 200ml
- Fresh parsley, thyme and chives 1 tbsp
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to season

- Melt the butter over a medium heat and add the garlic, red onion and mushrooms. Allow these to sauté until they become brown.
- Once the mushrooms are ready, add the double cream, parmesan, splash of white wine and seasoning.
- Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring occasionally until the sauce becomes thick.
- Once the sauce has thickened, drain the pasta and assemble.
- Season with fresh herbs, salt and pepper.
