New York Bakery Co multigrain bagel with smashed avocado and bacon

Ingredients

  • New York Bakery multigrain bagel 1
  • Ripe avocado 1
  • Farmstead British Red Tractor unsmoked rindless back bacon 2 slices
  • Lime juice a squeeze

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6.
  2. Place the bacon on a rack over a baking sheet and cook for 10 minutes until starting to turn crispy.
  3. Peel and destone the avocado before mashing it and adding seasoning with a squeeze of lime.
  4. Slice and toast the bagel then spread the mashed avocado on the bottom slice before adding the bacon and bagel top.
