Farmstead pork is bred in East Yorkshire and Norfolk; both areas with excellent agricultural heritage in both pig and animal feed production; which offers real efficiency in the supply chain. The location of the abattoirs means that 80% of our pigs travel less than 60 miles for processing. This means that the welfare of the animals remains at a high standard, with less stress due to travel for the animal.
The high quality of the pork we supply is recognised by the awards which continue to be received across all of our product categories. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products producing British pork, generally of higher welfare standards; within our integrated supply chain.
