Finish line flapjacks

Ingredients

  • Sunflower spread 110g
  • Desiccated coconut 27g
  • Porridge oats 150g
  • Golden syrup 40g
  • Soft brown sugar 110g

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
  2. Melt the margarine, sugar, and golden syrup and gently heat.
  3. Once it has melted, stir in the coconut and syrup.
  4. Add the porridge oats to the wet mix and stir well (ideally by hand).
  5. Pour into a lined tray and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool thoroughly before turning out and cutting.
