Ingredients
- Sunflower spread 110g
- Desiccated coconut 27g
- Porridge oats 150g
- Golden syrup 40g
- Soft brown sugar 110g
Method
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
- Melt the margarine, sugar, and golden syrup and gently heat.
- Once it has melted, stir in the coconut and syrup.
- Add the porridge oats to the wet mix and stir well (ideally by hand).
- Pour into a lined tray and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool thoroughly before turning out and cutting.
