Ingredients
| Unsalted packet butter | 150g |
| Soft brown sugar | 80g |
| Caster sugar | 80g |
| Vanilla flavouring | 5ml |
| Medium fresh egg | 1 |
| Plain white flower | 200g |
| Cocoa powder | 25g |
| Bicarbonate soda | 2g |
Method

- Pre heat the oven to 190C. Place baking paper onto oven proof trays
- into a bowl place softened butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar and beat until creamy
- Then add the vanilla and egg
- Sift the plain flour, coco powder, bicarbonate of soda into the bowl and mix it in with a wooden spoon.
- Add crunchie bits, stir well
- Use a teaspoon to make small scoops of the mixture, spacing them well apart on the baking trays
- Bake for 8–10 minutes. Then allow to cool down before serving
