Burtons Biscuits balsamic peach compote and biscuits

For this recipe we have teamed our shortcake with a compote but any of our traditional mini packs or shortbreads match perfectly with ice cream, chocolate mouse or sundaes. Ingredients

  • Frozen or tinned peaches ½ cup
  • Water 1 tbsp
  • Sugar ½ tbsp
  • Balsamic vinegar ¼ tsp
  • Burtons Biscuits mini pack 1

Method

  1. Pop your frozen/tinned peaches into a pan with water and sugar and heat until boiling.
  2. As the peaches start to fall apart add balsamic vinegar, stir and turn off heat.
  3. Allow to cool. If you prefer a smooth compote you can blitz at this stage.
  4. Serve with the 2 biscuits of your choice on the side.
