Can I have more than 1 user registered against my Bidfood account number?

Yes, you can have multiple users registered against the same account number. Each user will have their own unique Login ID and password once they have been registered.

How do I change my password and/or contact details?

Select your name at the top of the menu bar, and select ‘Your Profile’ to view information that can be changed including your password. Ensure you select ‘Update’ when you have completed the changes.

Who can I contact if I need further support with online ordering?

Your local depot team are on hand to assist you with any online ordering queries. You can find their contact details here.

Can I create favourites lists?

Yes, these are called ‘Order Forms’ in Bidfood Direct. You can create as many lists as you like to suit your ordering requirements. Simply click ‘Orders’ from the top menu and then ‘My order forms’ from the dropdown.

Can I change or cancel an order online?

Once an order has been submitted it cannot be changed or cancelled online. Please contact your local depot team for assistance.

Is there a minimum order for deliveries?

Yes, the minimum order value is £175 (Ex-VAT), unless your agreement differs from this. If your order is below the minimum then you will be unable to submit your order. If you are unsure, please contact your local depot team for assistance.

Can I add to an order?

If you have not yet submitted your order and it is still in your basket, yes.

If you have already submitted the order, you will need to create a new order and submit again.

What happens if my order is placed after the cut off time?

Your next available delivery date will be displayed during checkout.
If there are any changes to your delivery day you will be notified in the 2nd email confirmation that is sent to your registered email address.

How far in advance can I place orders?

You can place orders up to 2 weeks in advance.

What delivery days are offered to me?

Your delivery days are those that have been agreed with you and appear for you to choose as you finalise your order.

What payment options are available?

Available payment methods are in line with your agreement with Bidfood. If appropriate, you may be able to pay for your orders online.

There are several accepted payment methods –

PayPal
Google Pay
Apple Pay (on compatible mobile devices)
At the time of order submission, a pre-authorisation will be taken for the full order amount. The final invoice and payment value may differ from the initial pre-authorised amount. This may reflect that some items on your order may not be available at the time of picking, or that the order includes one or more variable weight products for which final weights will be confirmed at the time of picking and invoicing.

Can I see my invoices, credits, orders, and purchase history?

Yes. Go to ‘Accounts’ in the menu bar and select ‘Invoices/Credits’: 1. In ‘Orders’ and ‘Invoices/Credits’, either select ‘Search’ to view the past 7 days history, or enter information into one of the fields to narrow down the search. By selecting ‘Search’ the details will appear below the box. Select the invoice, credit or order number in the search results to show the full details. 2. In ‘Previous Purchases and Stocktake’, either select ‘Search’ to view the previous 30 days history, or enter dates into the fields to narrow down the search. To export the results to an excel spreadsheet, tick the ‘export’ checkbox.

Can I see promotions?

You’re able to take advantage of special price and multi-buy promotions via Bidfood Direct, in line with your agreed terms.

Is the price that I see at the point of ordering online the price I am charged?

The prices shown at the time of ordering will be the prices charged on your invoice.

Can I do a product search for specific dietary requirements?

Yes, when you are on the product list screen, you can filter the products by dietary requirements on the left hand side of the screen. Simply select the specific requirement (i.e. tick the boxes for the required suitable products – e.g. Halal). A list of all the products that meet your criteria will be displayed.
