Read MoreNational Accounts are a well established team of credit controllers dealing with large National Accounts. As part of this team you will be responsible for collecting overdue debt in line with a set cash goal to reduce our debtor days and percentage overdue. The ledger will be approx. £7.1 million covering approx. 196 accounts.
You will be managing your own portfolio of National Accounts, and liaising with both internal & external customers to resolve day to day queries. Additional duties include: coding cheques, meeting with national account managers & meeting with customers. You will have monthly meetings of top overdue accounts, providing detail to discuss & will also communicate any problem accounts to the business, thus ensuring customer service is kept to a high standard.
Ideally, you will have previous experience within a similar role and have used computer based credit control systems. Good Excel knowledge is essential as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You will need to be able to prioritise effectively & possess the ability to work to targets. You’ll need to work cross functionally with internal & external customers.
