IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Bradford

The IT infrastructure projects team is responsible for delivering IT projects for Bidfood Foodservice. We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, based at our Bradford Depot delivering specifically datacentre, desktop and office / depot infrastructure projects.

Have you got what it needs to be successful?

The infrastructure project manager will be part of a small infrastructure projects team responsible for managing multiple small to medium and large scale complex datacentre, desktop, office / depot projects, such as new compute / server, LAN / WAN network or platform deployments, upgrades and migrations – including for example the following technologies (Server 2008R2/12, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy), SQL database, SAN, EMC storage, Netbackup, archive, virtualisation (VMWare), Citrix XenDesktop, Canon Uniflow secure printing, desktop infrastructure (including laptop Windows 7/10 Operating System builds and deployments). Experience of SIP voice and data network (LAN / WAN / WIFI) implementation, migration, upgrades and ability to manage office moves / depot builds.

You will possess IT infrastructure project management experience and possess a sound knowledge of IT project management standards and methodologies with a relevant professional accreditation, ideally APMP practitioner.

You will deliver IT infrastructure projects with quality and commitment and to be able to demonstrate excellent project management skills with strong project governance, project controls and reporting abilities.

You will have had experience in delivering IT infrastructure projects in a complex environment, working with an assortment of third parties and managing deliverables to cost, scope and time-scales.

You will also be able to build relationships across the organisation and possess strong interpersonal and people management skills with the ability to negotiate, influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.

You will have a knowledge of financial budgeting processes, business case development with proficient financial management skills, effective risk and issue management and the ability to identify solutions to mitigate and / or resolve these.
