We are seeking a Goods In Clerk on a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months to deliver administrative support to the busy goods in office.
You will be working closely with the stock team, providing day to day support with service levels and stock integrity.
You will be responsible for providing high quality customer care to both internal and external customers, ensuring that all admin is dealt with efficiently and to the satisfaction of management and customers. Your main objective will be to help manage the depot’s extensive stock handling, by adhering to and implementing systematic stock processes and procedures.
You will be taking calls and answering emails from suppliers to book in deliveries and chase outstanding and late deliveries. You will work closely with the warehouse and goods in teams, running reports and monitoring stock.
To be successful in this role you will have similar experience of working within a stock control department, particularly within the fast-moving food distribution industry and within a multi-temp environment. You will need an understanding of stock control systems, and strong analytical and problem solving skills. You will need to be a confident IT user, with excellent business administration skills.
You will be someone with good communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy. We require flexibility, someone who works well within a team but can also succeed using their own initiative.
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday (any 5 out of 7) starting at 6am and covering 40 hours per week.
