This is a multi-functional, highly visible position working with operations, sales and finance functions. Forming an integral part of the Cimandis team, the key responsibilities of the role are to ensure overall effective financial management and reporting of the Cimandis business, actively contributing towards the financial planning and growth of the business.

Working within strict deadlines, the key components of the role include:

• The generation of accurate period end accounts (P&L, balance sheet and cash)
• Co-ordination, interpretation and communication of trading performance.
• Delivery of value adding management information with regular reporting at senior and middle management level throughout the company.
• Development and maintenance of a sound accounting environment.
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts in accordance with company accounting policies.
• Detailed cash forecasting and treasury management (bank reconciliation, petty cash and expense management)
• Responsible for purchase ledger, sales ledger and cash management functions.
• Direct line management of 4 staff in total.
• Managing relationships with 3rd party payroll service provider.

To be successful in this role you will require excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Good Microsoft Excel skills and previous team supervision are essential. Ideally the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record of success in a financial environment.

There is a business travel need with this role, You will be expected to visit the channel islands on at least one occasion per period.
