Customer Service Advisor – Slough

Bidfood are a leading wholesale food distributor covering the whole of the UK. We are currently recruiting for a talented Customer Services Advisor to join our team at our Slough depot.

 

The role:

This is a key role to the sites success and customer retention focusing on providing effective, timely and high quality services to all our customers.

  • You will handle and resolve a wide range of customer services issues on the phone, via email or your colleagues; using your excellent judgement and communication skills, and your passion for excellent service. Not only that, but you will seek to implement improvements to communication and processes to raise standards even further.
  • Effectively handle inbound and outbound calls/emails to provide commercially viable solutions to customer service issues within agreed parameters or to escalate issues outside these parameters.
  • You will ensure good communication with all departments and take ownership of all aspects of inbound and outbound customer contacts including query resolution and managing service issues.

 

A bit about you:

  • You must be a skilled and natural customer service advocate with understanding of its importance in a food distribution environment.
  • Your attention to detail and organisation will be excellent.
  • You will be able to think quickly on your feet, enabling the best outcome for all customers

  • Have excellent communication skills

Success in this role will utilise all your influence and impact with colleagues’ right across the depot, to ensure a shared commitment to the highest standards of customer service.
