The Category Development Manager (Telemarketing) is responsible for the development of ViVAS products within the Bidfood customer base. They will be tasked with carrying out supplier campaigns and working through call lists to increase the penetration of ViVAS products within the Bidfood customer base.
Main tasks and accountabilities include developing current ViVAS customers existing alcohol range, recommending new products and giving advice on how to sell them. The candidate should have a good knowledge of the wine, beers & spirits industry in the on-trade knowing what trends to look out for and being able to identify gaps. They must be able to interact well with suppliers and supply feedback on campaigns after completion.
Candidate must be confident in using Microsoft Excel; comfortable with sorting, V-Look Ups, Index Matching and Pivot tables. The candidate must also be self-motivated, organised and able to work towards targets. Has a passion for drinks and making wine more accessible to everyone.
