Ingredients
- Hotdogs 10
- Everyday Favourites butter 125g
- Everyday Favourites plain flour 125g
- Beer, warm 625ml
- Everyday Favourites mature white Cheddar 625g
- Everyday Favourties English mustard 5 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce 5 tsp
- Brioche hot dog rolls 10
Method
- Cook hotdogs and keep warm
- In a small saucepan melt the butter and make a roux with the flour. Cook for a couple of minutes, stirring to prevent the roux from burning.
- Stir in the warm beer little at a time, until you have a thick but smooth sauce.
- Add the grated cheese and stir until melted and you should now have a thick paste
- Mix in the mustard and Worcestershire sauce and season well with black pepper
- Add the hotdog to the bun and top with cheese mixture
- Place under the grill until cheese starts to bubble and lightly brown
