Ingredients

  • Foodfellas Belgian waffles 20
  • Everyday Favourites breaded chicken goujons 20
  • Farmstead smoked rindless streaky bacon 20 slices
  • Everyday Favourites large fresh eggs 10
  • Everyday Favourites pure Canadian maple syrup 150ml

Method

Waffles are more than a breakfast or dessert item these days thanks to the American trend coming to life in the UK foodservice market. Try these savoury waffles drizzled with the sweetness of syrup on your mains menu.
  1. Place the waffles onto a baking tray, warm and set to one side.
  2. Cook the goujons and bacon as per instructions and keep hot.
  3. Fry the eggs and leave runny.
  4. Place the bacon and chicken on the waffle and then top with fried egg.
  5. Drizzle with the maple syrup.
