Cuban sliders

These ham, melted cheese and pickle burgers are a Cuban classic.

Ingredients

  • Brioche burger bun 4.5” (frozen) 10 buns
  • Cocktail gherkins 200g
  • British smoked sliced ham (Red Tractor, chilled) 600g
  • Monterey Jack cheese slices (chilled) 200g
  • American mustard 100ml

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C.
  2. Slice the burger bun in half and toast them until golden.
  3. Slice the gherkins and set aside.
  4. Place the ham, cheese and sliced gherkins on one side of the bun.
  5. Place the mustard on the other side. Close the burger up and place into the oven until the cheese is melted.
