Ingredients
- Paragon crispy battered chicken chunks 7 chunks per serving
- Honey BBQ sauce:
- Everyday Favourites tomato ketchup 2 cups
- Water 1 cup
- Apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup
- Light brown sugar 5 tbsps
- Everyday Favourites clear blossom honey 1/4 cup
- Molasses 1/2 tbsp
- Everyday Favourites ground black pepper 1 tsp
- Onion powder 1/2 tbsp
- Ground mustard 1/2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Lea & Perrins worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
Method
- Place chicken chucks on a baking tray in a pre-heated oven at 200°C, Gas Mark 6 and cook for 15-16 minutes.
- Turn halfway through cooking. Alternatively fry in hot oil at 180°C for approximately 5-6 minutes, drain well before serving.
- Honey BBQ Sauce - combine all ingredients in a saucepan and let come to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for approximately 2 hours, stirring occasionally. The mixture will thicken and reduce a little.
- Serve immediately.
