Ingredients
- Vanilla ice cream 2 scoops
- Espresso coffee 1 shot
- Frangelico hazelnut liqueur 50ml
- Top with broken biscotti
Method
An affogato (meaning drowned) is a coffee-based dessert. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped with a shot of hot espresso – but why not add a twist to the ever popular Italian sweet. It’s easy and quick to make and is so versatile that a range of liqueurs can be used, but this is my absolute favourite. Looking for a alcohol wholesale supplier?
