What is #CheckPlease?

Christmas is one of the most difficult times of the year for the hospitality industry. Those working over the festive period face long hours on their feet, juggling multiple tasks to deliver an amazing Christmas experience for you.

But did you know that 30% of hospitality staff have had to deal with difficult or rude staff during what is meant to be the most wonderful time of year?[1]

This year we’ve teamed up with Hospitality Action, an incredible industry charity, to offer a range of tools and support to help make working at this time a bit merrier!

What can you do to help?

Our goal is to encourage you, the consumers, to spot the signs of stress, be kinder, more considerate and patient when it comes to eating and drinking out of home this festive period.

So the next time you’re out enjoying a lovely roast, pulling crackers and clinking your glasses, think about the stress those serving you may be under and remember to ask for the #CheckPlease!
