Reporting in to the Night Shift Supervisor and Manager, you’ll support the daily operation and performance of the nights warehouse and its team in order to provide the expected service to our customers within budget.

Effective team deployment and development is vital to ensure the warehouse operation provides the highest levels of operational efficiencies, service excellence and productivity within the business. You’ll be capable of recruiting and inducting skilled and motivated people into our business and will lead and engage teams to be successful. You will support in maintaining warehouse assets which need to be closely controlled to keep costs to a minimum and you will work to make sure that internal service standards are as high as external ones.

Your success will be measured in the achievement of these service standards, as well as commercial objectives pick rate control measures, productivity and a wide range of people factors such as training, attendance and investigations.

You must have food warehousing and distribution experience. You will be an excellent planner and communicator; skilled at working with teams of people and to tight timescales. Competent with IT skills, multitasking and to work under pressure. You will be flexible covering the night shift working 5 over 7 days a week.
