Order Administrator – Manchester BSC

The National account support team provides day to day support to the Bidfood team of National account managers and their customers. As an Order Administrator within the service co-ordination team you will help maximise the service offering to Bidfood clients. You will be working alongside a National account sector support team, with full focus on driving order fulfilment and establishing sustainable solutions at a product, unit and customer level in order to positively improve the end customer experience.

You will provide accurate support for National accounts ensuring all areas of ordering requirements are carried out to the highest standards. You will be a part of the team that is the primary point of contact for all pre-delivery order requirements, liaising with the service co-ordinators and other internal departments. You will also provide a re-key function in line with the sector service coordinators instructions to ensure maximum order fulfilment.

Out of stocks / substitutes / re-keys – including pro-rata pricing specific to contract will be a fundamental part of your role, so an understanding of the Bidfood processes relating to pricing is important. You may be expected to manage specific order requests outside of normal day to day requirements, and handle inbound and outbound calls, and emails, to provide commercially viable solutions for the customers.

You will be an exceptional communicator and be able to engage with customers (internal and external) at all levels, establishing positive relationships in order to ensure optimum order fulfilment. You will have a great knowledge of the ‘critical lines’ within your sector, enabling you to have a good understanding of suitable alternatives relevant to the accounts.

You will be actively involved in ensuring re-key activity received via the service co-ordinators is actioned in the system within the required deadlines to alleviate any issues that may impact the customer.

Experience in a fast moving, pressurised team environment is essential, together with outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills. You will have good attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Experience of using reflex would be advantageous.
