National Account Executive – Homebased

This could be the job for you: 

The specialist National Account Non-food and Catering Equipment team are responsible for the account management of some of our largest, and most prestigious customers. The role of the National Account Executive will support the National Account Manager in the management of the Non-food and Catering Equipment category. The role will be largely focused on meeting the daily and strategic demands of the account with the ultimate objective of maintaining and growing margin.

What do you need to be successful within Bidfood National Accounts?

Do you have experience within Non-food & Catering Equipment sales and are looking to progress in to account management? Great – you will need to be able to quickly establish effective working relationships both internally and externally.

We spend a lot of time working within excel and writing emails, so ideally you will have prior experience using basic level excel and a strong ability to communicate effectively. We work in a deadline driven, demanding environment, so you’ll need to have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.

We’ll need you to be flexible in your approach, along with the confidence to do things differently to fit in with changing circumstances.

Have you got the passion to influence others, to get things done by bringing others with you on your journey?

You will have good listening and questioning skills in order effectively understand customer demands

Work well as part of a team?

Super – you’ll need to work cross functionally with buying, customer services, supply chain, marketing and finance.  You will also have regular contact with our suppliers.

Just one more thing….. the role is homebased but you will be expected to travel throughout the country at different times, plus overnight accommodation as and when required.  You will therefore have a full clean UK driving licence and will be willing to have the occasional night away from home.
