A bit about the role

As the face of the depot to our customers, you will deliver food and non-food products within food safety standards to multiple locations which normally vary each day, as detailed on delivery notes and route ordering. You will be required to maintain your vehicle’s cleanliness and complete delivery documentation as required. The route can vary on a day-to-day basis and helps to keep the role fresh and exciting!

This role will cover 5 days out of 7. This means that you may work some Saturdays, but not all. This is worked on a rota basis with our other drivers.

A bit about you

You’ll possess a Category C LGV License, Digital Tachograph Card, DQC card and an excellent driving record.

You’ll also enjoy a challenge and be excited to help our customers succeed.

You’ll need to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers, resolving customer queries wherever possible. Other key responsibilities will include:

• Cash collections
• Maintaining product temperatures and managing your route accordingly
• Daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations
• Compliance with Health & Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other vehicle-related legislation
