Administrator

Manchester Depot is part of the wholesale Division, supplying fresh frozen and chilled products to all our customers.

As part of this team you will be responsible for liaising with customers, transport, warehouse Business Managers, third parties as well as colleagues.  Being able to communicate and develop relationships with people will be an important part of your day to day role.

You will be responsible for looking for the win-win situation when solving problems, ideally resolving issues to a high standard whilst balancing the costs of the business and the needs of our customers.  The ability to multi task and work under pressure will be qualities that you already have.  Maintaining computerised systems and documentation relating to is a key part of this role.

You will be used to working in a busy and challenging environment with targets.  Ideally you will have a proven background in solving customer problems and working accurately to deadlines.  You will be self-motivated with an excellent customer focused approach.  Flexibility and strong team working skills are a requirement of successful candidates, along with patience and an excellent telephone manner.

Admin roles are quite varied, not only dealing with general admin tasks such as day start reports, expense ledger, cashiering, there will also be responsible for reception duties & processing credits.Prime objective of the role is to provide a high quality of support to the department ensuring all tasks are completed within the set timescale & escalated as and when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Admin / Customer Service experience
  • Excellent communication skills & Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong Excel & Word skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliable, Flexible and work well under pressure.
  • Able to work to specific deadlines and manage workload effectively

A key part of the role is to work as part of a team
