Customer Service Advisor – Gateshead

The Sales and Customer Service teams are an integral part of our depot, responsible for meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations through the delivery of high standards. We are looking for self-motivated people who are passionate about getting things right and making a difference and thrive in being part of a busy team. The relationships you build with our customers are crucial, whether you are taking their order, positioning a new product range or dealing with an invoice query. You’ll need to have a key mix of skills including problem solving, influencing and be a natural communicator.

Our Sales team need to work accurately and efficiently to take our customer orders, optimise sales opportunities, and regularly analyse customer buying data to predict and meet future needs. In our Customer Service team, as well as being organised, flexible and driven to achieve results, you should also have confidence in handling customer complaints to reach the best possible outcome, by providing the appropriate solution.

In both of our teams, you’ll be speaking to our customers over the telephone, both inbound and outbound, so your ability to build rapport and listen attentively will be key to your success. You’ll be liaising and co-ordinating across our business to deliver for your customers, so being able to act efficiently and effectively should be second nature.
