We have an opportunity within our highly efficient warehouse and as part of our team you will fill an essential role in helping us towards the depot goals delivering the right products to our customers on time. Your duties will meet the operational needs of our warehouse.

 

These can range from:

• Completing all warehouse administration duties in a timely manner
• Investigating stock discrepancies and raising any unresolved issues
• Supporting and training of colleagues to ensure procedures are followed
• Demonstrating safe working practices
• Providing holiday and sickness cover as required
• Allocating work orders and managing any discrepancies
• Work collaboratively with other departments
• Any other duties (including supporting with warehouse operative duties) as required

Ideally, you will:

• Have food warehousing and distribution experience
• Be computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office and a WMS
• Have ability to confidently communicate in English with people from all levels within the business
• Have ability to work on own initiative
• Be able to listen to your colleagues and provide support and direction as and when required
• Have a high attention to detail
• Have ability to spot and rectify errors as they occur
• Be organised and able to maintain accurate records
• Be flexible in your approach to working hours
• Have high personal standards with a mindset for continuous improvement
• Be up to date and compliant with all health and safety and food hygiene legislation.
• You will be used to working to targets and will have an accurate and methodical approach to your work.
