Contracts & tenders executive

The Contracts and Tenders Team is a critical part of Bidfood’s Customer Development structure, which is responsible for the management of prospecting, and the production of tenders for existing and new national account and large independent customers. The team strives for the continuous improvement and development of Bidfood’s proposition with National Account and large Independent customers. The Contracts and Tenders team seeks to:

As a Contracts and Tenders Executive, you will be responsible for managing the full National Accounts tendering process ensuring internal and external deadlines are met to assist with the retention of existing business and winning new business through new contracts and range extensions. You will work across sectors to ensure tenders are delivered within deadlines, and produce professional tender documentation within authorised trading terms.

As part of this role you will work closely with the Central Support functions, National Account Managers, Finance, Coding, Corporate Procurement, Marketing, Supply Chain and Technical Services to ensure end to end processes are completed in line with their requirements.

You will ideally have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight time pressures. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to use your own initiative and work well as part of a team.  You will have good PC literacy skills with Intermediate level of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Outlook and Word. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to communicate at all levels. You will be organised and able to prioritise workload whilst meeting all deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately follow existing processes is essential.
