A bit about the role

The main but not exhaustive duties of the Yard Marshall role will be to ensure that the yard is kept in a safe and tidy state and all pallets/cages are located and loaded in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities will be:

• Maintain and supply stocks of clean, fit for purpose cages for the British Airways (BA) contract
• Substandard cages removed from pool and stored pending deep clean or major repair
• BA cages cleaned, washed and minor maintenance repairs carried out
• Pallet stocks are marshalled in yard in a safe and tidy manner
• Use of counter balance FLT to move and load pallets/cages
• Keep scrap areas tidy
• Minor repairs to general cages / hand trucks (removal of shrinkwrap)
• Report to manager any significant issues with cage / pallet stocks
• Report any QHSE issues to manager
