Warehouse Team Leader – Nights – Penrith

A bit about the role

You’ll work the night shift from Sun – Thurs (approximate start time 6pm this is subject to change) supporting the daily operation and performance of the warehouse and its team, to provide service excellence to our customers adhering to depot budget. You will be responsible for effective team deployment which is vital to ensure all chambers within the warehouse operation provide the highest levels of operational efficiencies, service excellence and productivity. Key duties will be:

  • Setting up the night team up for the night pick.
  • Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance through KPI management and staff engagement.
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
  • Perform reviews throughout new starter’s probationary period.

Preferably you will have your reach truck license for the role but full training will be given.

A bit about you

You will have people management experience ideally in a food warehousing and distribution environment. We are keen to see candidates who are enthusiastic, committed and can demonstrate they can effectively engage employees and have an accurate and methodical approach to their work.

You must have the ability to lift objects up to 25 kilogrammes to perform this role and work in all ambient, chill and freezer chambers.
