We have an opportunity within our highly efficient warehouse and as part of our team you’ll fill an essential role in helping us achieve our targets by delivering the right products to our customers on time.

Your duties will meet the operational needs of our warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the tasks within the Warehouse operation across all areas. You will also be responsible for the development of the team ensuring that the departmental and depot targets are met.

Effective team deployment and development is vital to ensure the warehouse operation provides the highest levels of operational efficiencies, service excellence and productivity within the business.

Your success will be measured in the achievement of these service standards, as well as commercial objectives covering cost and stock-loss control, credit reduction and a wide range of people factors such as training and attendance.

Food warehousing and distribution experience is desirable. Positive attitude, commitment and a desire to drive improvements is essential. You will be an excellent planner and communicator; skilled at working under pressure to both tight budgets and tight timescales
