A bit about the role

The depot has a highly efficient warehouse and as part of the team you will fill an essential role in helping us towards the depot goals delivering the right products to our customers on time.

You will be receiving and unloading goods from our suppliers and accurately replenishing stock.

You will be responsible for the safe and precise replenishment of ambient, chilled and frozen stock.

You will be picking food products to targets and within food hygiene legislation to ensure our customers’ orders are processed safely, accurately and in a timely manner.  You will be responsible for stacking orders methodically and in compliance with Health and Safety requirements.

You will also learn how to use our warehouse management system (WMS), including taking phone calls & checking emails for Goods In bookings.

Shift times to be 6:00 am till 15:30pm

A bit about you

This position requires the right person to be flexible with in all roles of the warehouse operation. FLT reach license would be desirable but not essential as training is available for the right candidate. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work towards specific targets and have an accurate and methodical approach to your work.  You will be a good team player who supports our company values to deliver service excellence. Knowledge of food hygiene and experience in a similar role are desirable but not essential. It would be desirable if you have experience of working with a warehouse management system.
