This is an exciting time to be part of Bidfood as we have now opened our brand new Liverpool depot. At our depot we will make over 1,500 deliveries to our customers each week, we have a number of teams who work together to deliver service excellence to our customers every day. We want to have passionate people working with us in Liverpool, we value our employees and strongly believe in developing our people for the future.

This is an important role, as you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse and Yard. This is a busy operation in which you will play a key role in making the picking process run smoothly.

You will be responsible for sweeping the warehouse floors, removing pallets and sweeping behind the racking. You will pick up all pallet wrap and disused cardboard and place them in the recycling bins. You will drive a Counter balance fork lift to empty the recycling bins and also load lorries with empty pallet collections. You will need to be aware of and comply with all Health and Safety requirements, including food safety and hygiene legislation.

You must be able to work efficiently and with flexibility as you will be responsible for responding to accidental spillages in the warehouse. Your attention to detail and organisation will be excellent, and you must be able to work in a team and independently.
