A bit about the role

You’ll be assisting the delivery driver, delivering food and non-food products to our customers in multiple locations throughout the day. The route can vary on a day-to-day basis but there will also be regular customers, meaning there’s a good mix of both variety and familiarity, which our drivers appreciate.

This role will cover at least TWO days per week and Thursday and Friday working will be required. Some of these days may include a 04:30 am start to allow ferries to be caught.

Prior to departure you will be required to assist the driver and warehouse staff load sub supply products onto the vehicle prior.

There may be an opportunity to assist the warehouse on days where it may not be necessary for a delivery assistant for the vehicle or due to demands within the warehouse.

A bit about you

Manual handling / kinetic lifting will be involved and you will be required to climb in and out of the vehicle cab and on and off the rear of the vehicle throughout the day. You’ll also enjoy a challenge and care about helping our customers succeed, taking pride in being the face of our company to so many people every day. You will require to be flexible as this role is dictated by customer demands and expectations with some requirement of warehouse loading also.
