Trunker/Shunter (Nights) – Wakefield

A bit about the role

Your main duties will include moving vehicles on and off the bays, monitoring the temperature of the vehicles when loaded and parked up. You may be required to drive class C or C+E vehicle to Bradford depot colleting stock, you will then return to the depot and continue moving vehicles until warehouse has completed the loading. There will be a requirement to organise the shift including the returning of vehicles from our repair agents and on occasions changing vehicles due to breakdowns and VOR’S. You will work closely with our warehouse management to enable the completion of fully loading vehicles ready for when the day shift drivers start arriving on site to commence their deliveries. The role will be on a Monday to Friday night shift usually starting around 21:00 and working up to 07:00 am.

A bit about you

You’ll possess a Category C+E Licence with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.  You’ll also enjoy a challenge and care about helping to improve the effective loading of vehicles in a timely manner, taking pride in what you do and are always seeking to make things better.
