At Bidfood, we recognise that the quality of our Transport teams is instrumental to our success.  Our Transport Supervisors need to be able to induct, train, mentor and engage their teams, to inspire them to be the best they can be.

You’ll manage the daily operation and logistics of the Transport department in order to provide the expected level of service excellence to both internal and external customers.  A typical day is never the same, so, you will be comfortable assessing load plans, checking and assisting with any morning loading, and ensuring the first shift of drivers are on the road at the correct time in a safe fashion.

To be successful in this role you’ll have very strong people management skills and be able to build strong relationships with other departments. An Operator CPC qualification would be an advantage but not essential, you’ll need experience in a fast-moving food distribution environment, you will also have good computer literacy skills with knowledge of MS Office applications and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the business. If this is you, we look forward to hearing from you. The working pattern will be shifts across 5 days out of 7, including some weekend cover.
