To ensure all drivers are routed and scheduled in the most efficient way to ensure all routes are planned to maximise cases per vehicle in line with the Depot KPI.

Working closely with the transport supervisors to ensure all routing and planning complies with drivers’ working hours and any customer requirements.

A bit about the role

You’ll be dealing with several internal departments to schedule deliveries of food and non-food products to our customers in multiple locations throughout the day. The routes can vary on a day-to-day basis but there is a regular customer database already in place.

You’ll also be heavily involved in other transport functions such as ensuring legal, service and people obligations are met as well supporting drivers and vehicles returning to the depot.

Transport routing and office support is a great stepping stone for anybody wanting to understand how transport operations function and work to provide efficiency improvement on a daily basis.
